Joe White spent the first 14 years of his career in the sporting goods industry. He held sales & marketing positions of increasing responsibility at Head, Penn, and Huffy Sports. In 1989, White founded Sports Group International, an executive recruiting firm serving the sporting goods and related leisure time organizations.

Joe has served on the Board of Directors of both the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) and the North Carolina Association of Personnel Services (NCAPS). He has successfully earned certification (CPC) from the NAPS organization. This process involves rigorous training and examination and the satisfaction of demanding ethical and professional standards.

Dave Reinhart, CPC

Dave Reinhart has enjoyed 20+ years in the sporting goods industry. Prior to joining SGI in 2000, he spent over a decade in sales and marketing management with Spalding Sports, where he initially started in the industry as an independent sales representative.

Reinhart is a member of the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) and has earned certification (CPC) from this organization. The process to achieve this distinction involves a rigorous examination and satisfaction of demanding ethical and professional standards.

Dave has placed managers in key positions with many of the industry’s premier companies. His placements include categories as diverse as apparel, footwear, team sports, equipment, outdoor, ski, eyewear and luggage.

Reinhart has sold and marketed to every channel of distribution in the sporting goods industry and has extensive knowledge at every level of management.

Dave is also a former national class distance runner and triathlete and has won USA titles in both track and cross-country.

Rod Jahner

Rod Jahner grew up an avid fisherman and hunter. Rod’s Client base at Sports Group International is focused on the outdoor sports industry including firearms, hunting and fishing equipment, archery, high-end optics, and outdoor/camping equipment and accessories.

Prior to joining Sports Group International, Jahner distinguished himself in executive development and coaching in the financial services industry. His career with Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank gave him a global perspective, developing and implementing executive improvement programs throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Rod was based in Singapore for ten years. Rod successfully employs ‘Best Practices’ skills of executive development and continuous improvement in his approach with Clients and Candidates.

While in Singapore Rod was the commissioner of the Singapore American Football League (SAFL) serving 150+ student athletes in three age-based leagues. He worked with professional athletes, NFL Films, ESPN Star Sports and a variety of corporate sponsors to promote the SAFL. Rod also served as a board member and treasurer of the Singapore American Community Action Council.

Jahner is a member of the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) and has earned the designation of Certified Personnel Consultant.
